The event entitled "Climate neutral and smart mobility: The role and prospects of Mobility as a Service (MaaS) in the city of Thessaloniki" was successfully held on 28/06 at café Allegro.
In the context of the event, the project eMaaS: Mobility as a Service (MaaS) was presented to support electric vehicle sharing services, in which the Institute of Sustainable Mobility and Transport Networks EKETA/IMET, BRAINBOX S.A., OTO A.E. participate. , ECOSUN and the Transportation Engineering Laboratory/AUTH. The main topics of discussion were the sustainability and scalability of the eMaaS system, as well as how the implementation and operation of MaaS systems can contribute to the achievement of cities' goals for climate neutrality, while satisfying citizens' needs for movement.
The event was attended by representatives of institutional bodies of the wider Central Macedonia Region, representatives of the business world and in particular with regard to the provision of mobility services, academic and research bodies, journalists and citizens.
